Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager (Hotels & Serviced Apartments)

The Job

• Day to day liaison with other departments in terms of operations, promotional activities, problem solving, etc
• Review and approve all purchase requests, petty cash requests, supplier invoices and payments
• Compile annual budget package, quarterly/monthly profit forecast and quarterly/monthly cash flow forecast
• Compile profit analysis for specific events, promotions or room package as and when necessary
• Ensure proper internal control measures are in place in all critical areas
• Work out feasibility study on potential projects as instructed by the Hotel General Manager
• Supervise team members of Finance Department in terms of the hotel operations

The Requirement

• Degree in either Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc., and professionally qualified accountant
• At least 12 years’ financial management experience, Hotel industry experience is a must
• Outstanding communications (both English & Chinese), commercial and business financial skills, able to advise on strategic and operational issues
• A willingness to be hands on and be proactive in implementing changes
• Strong people management skills to secure “buy in” and support from Hotel BU head & GM and heads of supporting functions within the company
