Job Description
Position Summary
- Being as a business partner to manage the human resources functions and activities which include talent acquisition, organization development, manpower planning and employee relations for the Business Unit of Hotels & Serviced Apartments to reach business/departmental objectives as well as ensure the compliance of the Group HR policies and labour related legislations.
Principal Duties
- Manage human resources functions to provide services in talent acquisition, organization development, manpower planning and employee relations
- Provide professional advice and support to user departments in respect of HR matters to ensure that efficient and effective services are rendered
- Lead a team to provide effective and efficient human resources services, coach and supervise the subordinates by assigning duties and evaluating work results
- Ensure all company HR policies and procedures are in compliance with the labour related legislation
- Assist in formulating and reviewing the human resources policies and procedures in alignment with the Group’s strategy and direction
- Proactively drive employee engagement initiatives
- Work with C&B team for remuneration and benefits matters such as annual salary review, bonus exercise and insurance review
- Work with Learning & Development Manager for training and development, talent management, driving the business unit’s culture and performance management
- Develop and compile various human resources reports and statistics
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources/business administration/hospitality management or equivalent
- 10 years’ or above relevant working experience in the hotel industry with at least 5 years in the similar capacity
- Strong leadership and problem solving skills in a combination of communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skill with ability to fight with multiple deadlines and ad hoc projects
- Good business acumen with excellent industrial connection and relationship among hoteliers and hospitality partners
- Organized, meticulous, proactive and can-do attitude
- Competent in coaching and counselling
- Well verse in HK Employment Ordinance as well as other related statutory regulations and ordinances
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Working efficiency in MS Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
