Job Description

The Job

  • Undertake administrative tasks associated with computer systems and networks technical support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Role as the “Help-Desk” to resolve the technical issues encountered by users
  • Evaluate and test new technology and project implementation
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve hardware/ software faults and coordinate with the vendors for hardware/ software maintenance
  • Provide 1st and 2nd tier technical support for IT issues during and beyond office hours
  • General PC configuration and software installation

The Requirement

  • Tertiary education in Computer Sciences / Information Systems
  • 5 years’ relevant working experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of contemporary information technology
  • Demonstrated experience in VMware environment, Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Familiar with PC skill, hardware and network support
  • Experience in hotel system and POS support is an advantage
